Two people have died following a crash involving a small plane and a car in a Pembroke Pines neighborhood, Florida, on Monday afternoon.

The plan struck a car as it went down and leaving the adult and child inside injured.

The mother and child in the car were in serious condition at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Pembroke Pines Police said the crash took place near Southwest 72nd Avenue and Southwest 13th Street.

Surveillance footage from a nearby home revealed the plane coming down and hitting the vehicle before striking into the ground and erupting into a ball of flames.

The plane, a single-engine Beechfront Bonanza, was on its way to North Perry Airport.
