2 dead, 5 injured after alleged illegal car race crash in Miami-Dade County
An incident of a car crash has resulted in the deaths of a man and a woman and injured five people in Miami-Dade County.
Witnesses find the crash to be related to an illegal car race.
The two dead have been identified as Lubman Lawrence, 64, and Taiice Davis, 42.
The crash took place about 2 a.m., on Saturday, at Northwest 183rd Street and 38th Court in Miami Gardens.
On Tuesday night, friends and relatives gathered at the crash site and held a vigil.
Officials are still working to figure out if illegal car racing was involved.
