The accident took place on the westbound carriageway near Melton at around 10 p.m. on November 22.
A white BMW 1 Series crashed with a grey Peugeot 3008 before coming to a stop and engulfing.
A woman and two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third man was admitted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The identities of the victims haven’t been released as of yet.
