Two people were killed after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Missouri.

The crash took place when an 18-year-old identified as Keegan Wiedemann, was driving a vehicle westbound on Highway 100 at Newport Road at 8:18 a.m. on Sunday with a 15-year-old boy as his passenger. The vehicle was driving accelerating too fast for the road condition after which the 1991 Ford Ranger went off the right of the highway and the driver overcorrected, moving left and right over the center line, and then the pickup rolled over the left side of the highway.

Both teens were ejected.

Wiedemann was pronounced dead at the scene while a 15-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

They were both from Missouri.

Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
