2 killed after car crash on I-43 in Milwaukee

Two people were killed following a fatal wrong-way car crash on I-43 southbound near W. Chase Avenue in Wisconsin on early Wednesday morning.

The two victims have been identified as 19-year-old Tyler Anderson and 27-year-old Ivy Caldwell.

Caldwell drove the wrong way onto the highway, and hit Anderson’s vehicle. 

Both were pronounced dead sometime after the crash.

The freeway was closed around 2 a.m. for investigation, and traffic was diverted off at W. Becher St.

Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash.
