Two killed after single-car crash in I-84, Boise

Two boys died after a one-car crash on Interstate 184, Boise, Idaho on Sunday.

The crash took place when a driver was moving east in a passenger car and lost control.

The car went off the right shoulder and hit a light pole before coming to rest on the driver’s side on the West Fairview Avenue on-ramp.

The on-ramp was closed for some hours.

Both victims, the driver has been identified as a 16-year-old named Henry Warner, from Meridian, and a 16-year-old passenger named Braden Caldwell from Boise.

Caldwell was pronounced dead at the scene while Warner succumbed to his injuries at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash.
