This summer, the 20th anniversary celebration of Mazda’s MX-5 would be marked with launch of a new special edition the MX-5 Miyako. MX-5 is the first special edition that will be having a base on both the soft-top and roadster coupe variants.
The new MX-5 Miyako, a 1.8-liter soft-top would cost from £18,385 onward while the 2.0-liter roadster coupe is priced from £20,885 onward. However, only 500 units of each of the variant would be offered for sale in UK.
MX-5 does not include any of the underpinnings and the performance changes. However, a significant improvement can be notice in the steering response as the new MX-5 come installed with a front suspension strut brace. The remaining changes in the new MX-5 are mere cosmetic changes such as special badging and a leather trim unlike its counterpart in the stock roadster. The supercar would be painted in metallic paint as standard and would have larger 17-inch alloys.
