The Mercedes–Benz flagship model, the CLS63 AMG and the CLS65 AMG have their price tags officially out. Price for the CL63 AMG has been fixed at €135,100 which is up by €7,900. The car is powered by a V8 and has a twin turbocharged 5.5 liter engine. The power output is 544 hp and 571 hp at 5,500 rpm if the AMG performance package has been installed. Torque developed is 800 Nm that become’s available between 2000 and 4500 rpm. For the AMG performance package installed cars the torque meter reads 900 Nm between 2,250 to 3,750 rpm. The acceleration factor is 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and top speed is 250 kmph which goes to 300 kmph for the AMG performance package installed cars.
The top car of Mercedes is its CL65 AMG and price is pegged at €191,450. This one is powered by a V12 which is a 6.0 liter engine and produces 630 hp at 4.800 RPM. Torque generated is a thumping 1000 Nm between 2,300 to 4,300 rpm. Sprint characteristics of the car is 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds with top speeds of 250 kmph and just as in the case of the standard CL63 AMG, the CL65 AMG too come with electronic speed limiters installed.
