British luxury auto maker Bentley is planning to launch two special edition models exclusively for the Middle East market. This is nothing to be taken by surprise given the fact that this market makes for about 10 percent of the total sales of Bentley on the global scale. The two models that they are going to launch in this market are the Continental Flying Spur and the Flying Spur Speed ‘Arabia’. The two models can be distinguished between each other by their exterior and interior get up. The models would be produced in just a total of 50 units.
Bentley’s Regional Director for Asia and Middle East, Geoff Dowding said “We have created these exclusive new models for our Arabic customers in recognition of the growing importance of these influential customers.”
The cars in both models have the Arabia insignia upon them and have tread plates as well as ashtray lid badge. The cars also have unique exterior front fender badges.
For engine the Continental Flying Spur Arabia is fitted with a flexfuel 6.0-liter W12 engine delivering 560 hp and has diamond alloy 14 spoke wheels. The other model named “speed” has a W12 engine developing 610 hp and has 20 inch 10 spoke wheels of bright silver. The car also has compatible carbon ceramic brakes as an option.
The cars have been fitted with a number of internal features like the picnic tables that are inset into the front and rear seats. There are also the vanity mirrors and chrome inlay strips as well as door waistrails.
