GM auctions off 2011 Camaro Convertible for a cool $205,500

General Motors Co., in a recent auction, has successfully sold the second 2011 Camaro Convertible. The sport vehicle was produced for consumer sale at the Barrett-Jackson Car Collector Auction. The auto experts estimated the auction price of the sports vehicle to be over $205,500. However, experts also believe that the quote price was quite high as the car was yet to be seen. The automaker had introduced Camaro Convertible Concept at the Las Vegas show. However, the automaker decided to continue to keep the new actual 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible under wraps until the sports car is officially released to public. It is believed that GM is planning to use the first Camaro Convertible, which will be produced for consumer sale for “for historical purposes.”

The YMCA of Southern Nevada, which seeks to “promote healthy living and foster a sense of social responsibility”, will be the recipient of the funds raised from the auction of the Camaro Convertible Concept model. Camaro fans have been watching and keeping a tab on the auction that also involved many other models on display.

It will benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, when a bidder bought 2010 UFC Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe for $385,000. The sports vehicle is powered by a 650 hp engine. UFC president Dana White appeared to be extremely felicitous with the results of the auction. The 2010 UFC Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe has several attractive features consisting of custom exhaust, 2000-watt sound system, and lower suspension kit. The sports vehicle also come with the option of custom paint. The vehicle also features UFC fight glove seats with headliner made of leather with a napped surface.
