BMW Z4 Silver-Top: New Limited Edition Model exclusively for sale in Japan

by Alex

After the xDrive35i and 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited editions, BMW has now released another limited production model for the Japanese market. The model that they have released for Japan is based on the Z4 hardtop roadster. So it’s one more BMW special for Japan.

The most noticeable features of the car are its Titanium Silver finish of the two-piece electric folding hardtop and exterior mirror caps. These create a contrast with the Black Sapphire paint job of the body of the Z4 Silver Top edition. For interior there is the Kansas Coral Red Kansas leather seats and aluminum decorative trim.

The engine on this model is a 2.5 liter straight six with 204 horsepower and 250Nm of torque on tap. This in turn is linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission. There are 15 units to be made of this car and the price is fixed at 5,590,000 Yen (about US$68,900 at today’s exchange rates).
