by Adrian Hayden

The rival for the Porsche Panamera is starting to become reality. The car will be introduced to the market in spring 2015. The builder promises a new level of refinement and elegance with this new super saloon. The price tag of the car will match its beauty: $189,000. Dany Bahar, the Chief Executive Officer of Lotus said that this new model will be sensational to look at and very spacious.

The car is also lightweight for its class and very low-emitting. Performances are still up as the four seater GT receives a 5.0 l V8 engine that develops 620 BHP and 720 Nm of torque.

The car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 4 seconds and goes all the way up to 315 km/h (192 mph). The car has a total weight of just 1,800 kg and will be available with rear wheel drive or all wheel drive. Also, Lotus will offer a hybrid version with a special electric gearbox
