The new Jeep Compass has recently been released by Chrysler. The car is said to offer new and sophisticated styling, impressive fuel economy, and plenty standard features. It is very clear that this car is inspired by the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, as the Compass features new hood, new front fenders, new fascia, a new set of headlamps as well as a new front grille and a small dose of chrome surrounding. To improve visibility, the constructor has implemented in the new Compass quad reflector headlamps while the fog lamps are now high output projector lamps. The face-lift continues in the back of the car: new rear fascia, new body-color rear spoiler and subtle, upscale touches including new LED taillamps. There is also a limited edition 2011 Jeep Compass model which has bright trim on the step pad and a chrome exhaust tip. On the interior, the car has new soft touch front door trim panels, a new center armrest and, a big improvement, a new steering wheels with a lot of controls like radio, cruise control, handsfree phone and others.

Tis engine delivers 23 mpg in the city, and 29 mpg on the highway when mated to the five-speed manual transmission. As an option, the car is offered with a 2.4-liter World Engine that produces 172-horsepower and 165 lb.-ft. of torque, an engine which mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and a front-wheel drive configuration delivers unsurpassed 23 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city, and 29 mpg on the highway. For those who want better off road performance, the car is offered with Freedom Drive I and the Freedom Drive II Off-Road Package. The Freedom Drive I offers a system that helps the driver cope with rough weather and low-traction conditions.
The Freedom Drive II Off-Road Package offers an exceptional all-wheel drive system that delivers Jeep Trail Rated capability, and includes a second-generation continuously variable transaxle with low range (CVT2L). Even more, the Freedom Drive II Off-Road Package offers a full-size spare tire, a one inch raised ride height, skid plates, tow hooks, fog lamps and manual seat height adjuster. The 2011 Jeep Compass can be ordered in the following exterior colors: Blackberry Pearl Coat, Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Clear Coat, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Clear Coat Deep Charcoal Gray (limited availability) and Mineral Gray Pearl Coat (late availability). The car will be available in three configurations: Compass, Latitude and Limited.
