Bentley announced that the Continental Supersports Convertible ISR i.e. Ice Speed Record that it has built to celebrate its world ice speed record will also be available with the ISR Mulliner design package. The package which features some bold graphics with the words “Supersports ISR” and the detailing which are done in red accent will not include any extra costs. Bentley had earlier created a flutter by creating a world speed record for a convertible car that topped out at 205.48 mph or 330.695 km/h. However, there will be just 100 units of the car for the world market.
Each of the car will derive its power from the stupendous 6.9 liter W12 engine that is capable of an impressive power output of 640 HP and torque measuring 800 Nm or 590 lb-ft. Equipped with the Quickshift 6 speed automatic transmission, the Continental Supersports Convertible ISR is able of reaching the 100 kmph mark in just 4.0 seconds while the 160 kmph come up in just 9.5 seconds.
The exhaust system fitted in the car is new while the braking system includes large 420 mm diameter disks up front along with 356 mm diameter disks at the rear. The system also features carbon ceramic braking discs with 8 piston calipers at the front to ensure fade resistant stopping power. The calipers are placed behind the superb 20 inch 10 spoke wheels of the Supersports that come with a dark tint finish.
