While we’re all waiting for the Alfa Romeo 4C to finally launch, the brand teases us with a new video of this gorgeous Italian sportscar.
The 4C mid-engine sports coupe should arrive in European showrooms sometime in the first half of 2012 with a few examples making their way into the U.S. by the end of the year. Even so let’s not forget, it’s the Fiat Group we’re talking about. This is the same company that has turned Alfa Romeo’s U.S. introduction into something a joke by constantly pushing back the launch for the past decade.
Hawever Alfa Romeo’s marketing arm is getting ready for the introduction and has now released a new promotional video on the sports model, the concept that “rocked” the Geneva Motor Show, and continues to talk about themselves.
This new model is powered by Alfa’s 1.7-liter Turbo engine delivering 200-horses to the rear wheels via a twin clutch automatic transmission for a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of under 5 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h (155 mph).
