Shortly after the official announcement about the new Individual Packages and Exclusive Edition for BMW X5 and BMW X6, their X6 was spotted with a new set of headlights.
This is the first time when the 2012 BMW X6 facelift is spotted as the Bavarian automaker has put a few prototypes out on the streets of Munich for testing. The new model comes with a new headlights with LED daytimers similar to the new 1-Series.
This new facelift sees the 2012 BMW X6 come with a new “angel eyes” setup, one which includes the much cherished these days LED daytime running lights within the same assembly we saw on the 2012 1 Series and we also expect to see in the next-generation 3-Series due soon.
As you can see in these pictures, the rear lights are also new, and since this is an early prototype, we expect to see more spy photos with additional details soon so stay tuned for news.
At this time what is really important about the currently spied 2012 BMW X6 is that it’ll be getting a new set of engines, most important of which, is the 3.0 liter tri-turbo six cylinder diesel unit with an output of up to 400 PS (294 kW / 395 bhp).
For 2012, X6′s price range between $58,900 and $89,500.
The 2012 BMW X6 is expected to debut sometime next spring. Until then you can check out our photo gallery below and share your opinions in the comment section.
