Bruno Senna Replaces Heidfeld at Renault

Being a truly exception, considering that most drivers who fail in F1 fail downwards, Senna fails up. How? Well, Renault just announced that Bruno Senna will replace Heidfeld for Spa.

Considering that testing for Honda before it quit F1, didn’t work out so well, the nephew of the late, great Ayrton Senna, Bruno Senna took the only chance he had to get onto the grid when he debuted with the Hispania Racing Team.

After that, Senna was then picked up as a test driver for the Renault team and now, according to the last announcement made by the company, he will have the chance to race again this weekend, taking the place of Nick Heidfeld. If you don’t know, Nick Heidfeld himself was brought in to fill in for an injured Robert Kubica.

Despite the fact that Heidfeld was actually doing better than his teammate Vitaly Petrov in the standings, Renault decided to shake up its driver lineup over the summer break.

Finally, Senna’s fate at Renault is still unknown and it depends most of his performance. Anyway, we’ll see after this week-end whether Senna is kept on or replaced in turn., so stay tuned for details.
