With the next Olympics being hosted by London, United Kingdom in 2012, Mini made use of the perfect opportunity by launching the new special Olympic edition Cooper. And Mini has used some interesting launch methods on a fine sunny London morning.
The new Mini are available in three colors which match the Union Jack flag- Chili Red, Lightening Blue, and White Silver. Mini offers these limited cars a base, S, D, or SD varieties, which range from £17,800 to £20,860. Another addition is outfitting each car with a pair of 17 inch unique gray wheels. A small strip of Union Jack flag runs down along the car, and the roof and mirror housings display the logo of the 2012 London Olympics.
Mini utilized J.J. Jegede at the launch of the car. The England Long Jump Champion launched the product in his own way. The three different colored Cooper were parked at each other side, and the champion Jegede jumped across it.
The interiors of the limited edition car are impressive as well. The most striking feature is the etching of the London skyline on the dashboard, with a remarkable piano black background. The dashboard also features the words of the Olympics- London 1 of 2012. The interiors- leather seats, shifter boot, floor mats, and even the handbrake have a red, blue stitching, along with white piping. More features include chrome accents and lounge leather sports seats, cruise control, and DAB radio.

Mini will manufacture only 2012 copies of these must have limited 2012 edition car. Though the car will be on sale from March 2012, hopeful buyers can pre order and enjoy excellent handling with a patriotic experience.
