Aston Martin has released this year’s Virage. The new model is powered by a 6L V12 Alloy engine which produces 489.5 bhp. Thanks to this monster-engine the new Aston Martin goes from 0-60 in under 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 185.8 mph. The new Virage will feature the Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes, with a tremendous stopping power. The base price is $210,000.
The British Car manufacturer has managed to bring luxury comfort and refinement together in the 2012 Virage. Standard equipment includes heated seats, cruise control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth telephone preparation, and a 700W Aston Martin Premium Audio System with Dolby Pro Logic II and full Ipod integration. The single bi-xenon headlamps follow the lines of the car’s flanks to give a more modern look. The new front bumper is simple, contributing to the overall simplicity of the car. Together with the simplicity of the car, they contribute to a futuristic design and make a pleasure to look at.
The new model’s dynamics have been improved in order to create a better and more refine driving experience. The newly developed ADS (Adaptive Damping System) “reads” the road and adapts the car to different conditions.
Aston Martin, once again, releases a car which is concurrently a pleasure to the eye and to the driver – a monster underneath and a beauty on the outside.
