Hyundai revealed their 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. The new vehicle from Hyundai comes in two models: one powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine with direct-injection technology, capable of providing 348 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque with a reasonable fuel economy at 18 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway, and another model that features a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger and a larger intercooler, capable of delivering 274 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy for the second model is 20 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The cost price is estimated to be between $25.000 and $33.000. The release date is currently unknown, but it is believed that the Genesis Coupe will be available for purchase in the second half of this year. The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes with an automatic 8-speed transmission, but also with a six-speed manual which is controlled from paddles. The 3.8-liter model goes from zero to 60 in five seconds, and reaches a top speed of 149 mph, that is electronically limited. The most important features on the Genesis Coupe are the low-velocity-control suspension dampers, electroluminescent gauge cluster with information display, a telescopic steering wheel, a high performance braking system, high intensity discharge headlights, iPod compatibility and others. The new Hyundai also comes with a free 90-day complimentary trial period for the Hyundai Blue Link (a combination of safety, service and ifotainment). The sport front seats offer great lateral support, and the rear seats feature LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children).
