McLaren MP4-12C Mansory tune-up

by Site Default

The legendary McLaren MP4-12C gets a tune-up made by Mansory (a company which has been present in all of the major auto events from previous years). The new McLaren will be more powerful, more luxurious and faster.

The power has been increased to 661 horsepower (599 in the standard). Maximum torque also climbs to a peak of 498 lb-ft (from 442 in the series model). The top speed now goes as high as 221 mph.

The exterior has been completely redesigned, Mansory opting for the carbon-fiber version. Design hasn’t been changed much, though. Thanks to the usage of carbon fiber instead of aluminum, the weight has been significantly decreased in comparison with the series MP4-12C, making for better braking distance, increased vehicle control in banks and a better fuel economy.

The wheels are 20-inchers in the front, and 21 inch rollers in the back. They are made using forging technology, and are thus ultra-light and very robust.

The interior comes with finest materials, giving the passengers the feeling of luxury and comfort. The leather that is treated by master craftsmen, the new sports steering wheel, the aluminum pedals and multiple carbon-fiber elements complete the exquisite interior design of the MP4-12C.

We’ll get a release date and a price in a couple of days at the event in Switzerland. This might just be a great car to add to your multi-million dollars hall of fame.
