The inside of the 2013 Boxter is, as in the previous models (other cars from Porsche as well), very driver-oriented. Buttons and switches are placed so that they’re easy to access, forming some kind of circle of control around the driver.

The central tunnel is similar to the one of the Panamera, so it raises high about the waist. Audio, Navigation, Climate and seat controls, as well as the new instrument panel (speedometer, tachometer and a configurable TFT that provides information regarding songs, phone, tire pressure and G meter) are similar to the one in the 911.

Steering wheel comes with paddles for the PDK transmission. Its size is a bit large, at 330mm, but it’s not something that would bother you all that much. It is electro-hydraulic, but it doesn’t feel that way at all, providing a great feedback and giving the driver an “I’ve got everything under control” feel.

Standard interior color is red, and you can find it everywhere from the steering wheel to the leather seats. All of the materials feel high-quality, and Germans traded no expense as far as luxury is concerned.

The two seats look comfortable and spacious, in spite of the small dimensions of this car. The all-cloth roof retracts in 9 seconds, at a maximum speed of 31 mph.
