Hyundai recently said that the Velostar will now be available in the Malaysian market with prices beginning at RM116,888 for the cheapest version.
The South Korean based automaker, it is aid that they will be three versions are available for the 2+1 coupe, the Veloster Gamma 1.6 MT, the Veloster Gamma 1.6 AT and the Veloster Premium 1.6 AT. All versions of the Hyundai Veloster in Malaysia are powered by the same 1.6 liter naturally aspirated Gamma D-CVVT engine, which is producing a total output of 132 PS at 6,300 rpm and it has a peak torque of 158 Nm, available at 4,850 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or to a six-speed automatic, depending on the version chosen.
Ans some features seen on the car include, the ESP, VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), HAC (Hill-start Assist Control), two front airbags, ABS, air conditioning, fabric / leather seats, a rear spoiler, LED projection headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a premium audio system, reverse camera and more. And the car will be available with a choice of colors including the Vitamin C, the Green Apple, the Veloster Red, the Sonic Silver, the Sleek Silver and the White Crystal. Prices for the model start at RM116,888 and they can go up to RM132,888. The model has a 300,000 km or five-year extended warranty.
