Geneva Motor show is about to happen and Aston Martin has decided to showcase the Vanquish Volante for the first time.
The Volante is the exact replica of the Vanquish coupe. and as a result it will carry known styling and a replaceable fabric roof.
Power will come from a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 573 HP (421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque.
It will be attached to a transmission line which would allow the car to speed up from 0-100 km/h in under 4.2 seconds.
There are reports that the Auto major would introduce the 2013 Rapide S at the Geneva Motor Show. Showcasing a altered styling and an bespoke interior, the model gets a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 558 HP (410 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) which allows the car to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 306 km/h (190 mph).
The Aston Martin Vanqish Volante is basically meant more for racing circuit than for city roads as it appears from its look and appearance. It is fast and can take any one by surprise by its speed and volatility.
So far we have only the engine details whereas other details are yet to be disclosed which will be done so only at the auto show in Geneva.
One more report:-
Many people would be waiting to see the next generation Aston Martin Vanquish Volante or even its picture will make many people happy. Some close-up photos of the model have been revealed and they are nothing less than awesome.
Vanquish Volante version is not much different from its coupe counterpart. Minor differences such as roof of fabric was however evident from the close-up photo.
Talking about the engine, this also is the same as the coupe version with 6.0 liter V12 engine with output generation capacity of upto 656 hp. The gearbox also is the same which is a six-speed Touchtronic 2 auto transmission. In spite of the same engine, the performance may be on the slower side because of the heaviness of the car and it’s doubtful if the car will touch 60 mph in same time o f 4.1 seconds.
Stay tuned till then and for now enjoy browsing the pictures.
