ABT Takes New Golf GTI into R Territory with 270 HP Mod

by SpeedLux

The MkVII Golf GTI was launched in the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2013 and the first impressions and reactions are quite good.

The seventh generation Golf GTI has 2.0 liter TSI engine and has 220 PS which is lower than the older Focus ST or Megane RS models.

However, ABT Sportsline which is a Volkswagen group tuning company has stated that this problem of GTI Golf can be fixed by them. They released a statement in which they claim that their power kits have helped the car to increase the output to 270 PS and which is good news for the car lovers.

Some German based tuners have also released couple of renderings on the basis of their fittings in the car. The fittings include their body kits, set of 19 inches 50 offset wheels covered in 225/35 R19 tires and few exhausts. This will surely generate some interest in other tuners and the car lovers and we can expect a better car in the future.
