1. Formula 1 British Grand Prix
This article couldn’t begin with any other event. The Grand Prix at Silverstone is arguably the most famous motor vehicle based event in the country. This year it has been moved forward and is actually taking place in June – from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th. You will get to witness all of the sport’s top stars in action, including British favourites Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, and Paul Di Resta.
2. Cholmondeley Pageant of Power
This event takes place in the summer and is truly magical when the sun is shining; providing you with the basis for a fantastic day. The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power is taking place between Friday 14th June and Sunday 16th. What is so great about this event in particular is that you get your fantastic cars, but you also get a lot of extras on top – think powerboat racing and military demonstrations. This is most men’s dream weekend!
3. Santa Pod Festival of Power
This is a three day car event, and therefore the fun entailed is tripled. The Santa Pod Festival takes place between Saturday March 30th and Monday April 1st. This is event that all people can enjoy. Therefore if you fancy a day out with the family or friends then this isn’t a bad place to go. Although, be warned; you will need your earplugs at the ready. This festival revolves around drag racing. However, what makes it appealing to the masses is the car themselves. You will get to witness a lot of unique and funny designs.
4. Passion for Power
There is a recurring theme with all of these car events; power. But, that’s what everyone likes to see when they go to a car event, isn’t it? The Passion for Power show won’t leave you disappointed. The event takes place between Saturday 6th of April and Sunday the 7th. You will get to see a simply massive selection of some of the UK’s best cars.
5. Salon Prive
And finally, if you have a taste for the expensive and the lavish then you should definitely attend the Salon Prive – taking place between Wednesday 4th September and Friday the 6th. If you want to indulge in scrumptious lobster and witness some high end cars, then this event is right up your street. Just remember to dress for the occasion!
All of these five events are assured to impress this year.
