Volkswagen 4Fun concept revealed in Shanghai

The ongoing 2013 Shanghai Auto Show saw the launch of the 4Fun Concept by Volkswagen.

The plug in hybrid minivan has been jointly created with a team of Chinese college students as a part of the project called “People’s Car Project”. The Volkswagen 4Fun appears to be a futuristic minivan with some cool features such as a long body and a top-opening side door. The concept also has other features such as a panoramic windscreen, enormous alloy wheels and distinctive taillamps.

No further details were released by the company but there are speculations that the minivan may be a plug-in hybrid one that can be recharged by a set of roof-mounted solar panels or a wireless recharging system. The model is also envisioned to have additional features such as internet connectivity, an advanced safety system and an autonomous driving system.

The car looks very cool and the designing given is superb and it will surely attract lot of eyeballs and create lot of hype and excitement among the car lovers. We will have to wait for further details to be revealed and we will keep you updated s we come to know about the same.
