Maserati published a comprehensive photo gallery with the 2014 Ghibli in this week, following the car’s public debut at Auto Shanghai Show in April.

The 2014 Ghibli is the company’s first ever car to receive a diesel engine in the form of a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine generating 275 HP (202 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The model will be able to accelerate to 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in just 6.3 seconds. The model would return 47 mpg UK (39.2 mpg US or 6 liters / 100 km).

The customers also have an option to order gasoline engines with a twin-turbo V6 3.0-liter with output of 330 HP (243 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. Maserati is also selling a Ghibli S model featuring the same gasoline engine but tweaked to generate 410 HP (301 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft). In this configuration, the car will be able to achieve 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in only five seconds and would come with a top speed of 177 mph (285 kmph).

All the above three engines would be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission developed by ZF.
