Recently a McLaren spokesman confirmed that the production of the first P1 hypercar has commenced.

Speaking at a recent dealership presentation in Holland, the spokesman confirmed the above news. However the company has not released any details and photos of the event to respect the privacy of the customer.

Well the P1 is nothing going to be less than a limited edition model and so a total of just 375 units of the McLaren P1 will be built. Each of them will feature a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine coupled with an electric motor generating a combined output of 916 HP (674 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. With this output, the hypercar will be able to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in less than three seconds and will be able to hit an electronically-limited top speed of 350 kmph (217 mph).

The company has not yet revealed anything on the pricing but taking into account the fact that it is a hyper car with quite exciting and unique features, we can expect the pricing to be above £1 million.

As of now we will have to wait for the details to be revealed by the company but it is certainly exciting news and surely there would be many car lovers who would want to own this hypercar.
