The Opel Tigra has been restored to life but this time in digital form by none other than X-Tomi Design who had also envisioned a possible look for a hypothetical third-gen model.
The second generation of the Tigra had come out in 2004 and was based on the Corsa featuring a coupe/convertible configuration with two seats and a retractable hardtop. The sad part is that it never took off after it was launched and was eventually phased out in just five years in 2009 on account of poor sales.
The chances of seeing a new model in the near future are pretty slim since the current Corsa is an aging model and is in need of a replacement which we may get to see soon. Maybe after the all-new model will be introduced we can expect Opel to resurrect the Tigra with an Adam-inspired front fascia as can be seen in this digital render.
However if ever the third-gen model of Tigra would come out, how far would it match with this rendering, only time will tell and we may have to wait for really a lot of time.
