The BMW M4 Convertible has been spied once again undergoing winter testing, prior to a reveal scheduled for later this year.
It is not really a difficult task to figure out how the BMW M4 Convertible will be designed after simply taking a look at the new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe. It will wear the typical M body kit with a sculpted bonnet, muscular wheel arches and a quad exhaust along with a retractable hardtop which will critically affect the cargo capacity when folded into the trunk.
Just like its cousins, the 2014 BMW M4 Convertible will make comes fitted with a TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine generating an output of 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. Because it will be a tad heavier, the model will probably be slightly slower to complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint than the M3 Sedan / M4 Coupe which do it in 4.1 seconds with the optional 7-speed DCT or in 4.3 seconds with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox.
BMW will probably show the 4-Series Convertible in early March at the 84th Geneva Motor Show.
