Buyers of future Audi vehicles, especially the Q7 model, will seemingly be treated with a number of advanced and luxurious amenities. Speaking of which, tablets will be one of the amenities that future Audi customers can expect to get when they put their cash on a brand new Audi model. Yes, the luxury German automaker has confirmed that its upcoming flagship Q7 SUV will feature tablets right when it rolls out of the company’s Germany factory.

According to the luxury German automotive brand, these tablets will be part of the SUV’s new entertainment system for the rear seat passengers. As such, there will not only be one but two tablets altogether. Each of these tablets will have a 10.1-inch display panel and will be running the Android mobile platform from Google. The tablets will also feature pretty advanced hardware components, including the Tegra 4 CPU from Nvidia.

The rear passengers of the next generation flagship SUV from the luxury German automaker will also be able to snap some images using the tablets, thanks to their built-in full HD camera. To save those images, the tablets have 32 GB of internal storage capacity. In addition to that, the NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are available as well. In fact, the latter is also used to connect the tablets to the MMI navigation plus system of the vehicle.

With that being said, the rear seat passengers of the 2015 Audi Q7 will also have access to the navigation system of the vehicle. This means that even the rear passengers will be able to set a route to head to. Yet, if all those are not enough, the rear passengers can still browse the internet by means of the Wi-Fi connection of the tablets and download dozens of apps from the Google Play Store.

Yet, unlike those other tablets out there, these tablets inside the new Audi Q7 have been treated with necessary crash safety feature. Last but not least, when the car has reached its designated location, the rear passengers of the car will be able to remove the tablets from their mounting inside the vehicle and take them outside to use just like any other tablets out there.
