This McLaren P1 Is Completely Made of Paper!

by SpeedLux

It needs no questioning that supercars normally come with super high price tags as well. With that being said, there is no wonder that only a handful of people out there are capable of affording such cars. However, that may not be the case with this McLaren P1 in particular. Believe it or not, this particular car is made completely out of paper, mind you!

In order to make such a creation even possible at all, the designer has to use no less than forty pages of paper altogether. These pages consist of 139 parts in total. The artist behind the creation uses textured printed templates that he glues to one another. And, to say the least, his creation is a very detailed one, too.

As it turns out, this paper McLaren P1 has been designed by artist Taras Lesko. The man is now trying to sell his design on the World Wide Web. Anyone out there who is interested in the design of the papercraft in question will be able to get the PDF online by paying only a small sum of cash, nothing more than $3.99. However, for this money, they will still have to print the design yourself. Yet, for those people out there who prefer to acquire a completely printed template, they will have to pay $24.99.

If you think that the artist mentioned here is asking too much for a price of such a design, perhaps you are mistaken. After all, he is quite experienced and this is not his first creation. In the previous year, the man even designed a paper Lamborghini Aventador at the scale of 1:2, which is massive. As a result, the papercraft Italian raging bull weighed in at 11.3 kg. Speaking of the man’s paper Aventador, it actually came as a result of his wife daring him to build such a model.

Wow, keep up the good work, Taras Lesko!
