Renault, which is a car manufacturer from France, has eventually released official pricing plans for the Espace vehicle model. For those who have not had the chance to get to know the Renault Espace just yet, the vehicle is a luxury multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) from the French automotive brand.
The Espace first showed up at public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show event which took place in October 2014. Now, after several months of its premiere at the aforementioned auto expo, the car is ready to be driven home by potent customers. Sales of the vehicle are expected to kick off this spring and the asking price for the vehicle will start at 34,200 Euros. With that kind of money, buyers can expect to drive home a whole brand new base trim Espace, the Life Energy variant. This variant comes with a dCi 130 engine paired with a manual gearbox. Yet, as for customers that demand the ultimate option, they can always go for the Initiale Paris Energy as long as they pay 46,300 Euros. The latter is a range-topping variant and it boasts a dCi 160 EDC6 engine.
Unlike its predecessor, the new Espace now comes with a more modern and silk silhouette. In addition to that, even the base trim model of the vehicle is packed with full LED headlamps, parking sensors, the R-LINK2 infotainment system that is equipped with an 8.7-inch display, one-touch function for all seats, Lumiere panoramic windscreen and even 18-inch bespoke alloy wheels as well.
For the base trim, buyers will get a a turbodiesel dCi 130 engine capable of 130 hp and 320 Nm of power and torque. For alternatives, buyers can also choose a dCi 160 engine with 160 hp and 380 Nm of power and torque. Or, if that is not enough, buyers can still get a TCe 200 petrol engine with 200 hp and 260 Nm of power and torque. Gearbox choices include 6-speed EDC, 6-speed manual and also a 7-speed EDC automatic dual clutch gearbox.
