The Italian automaker, Maserati, has now officially taken the veil off its upcoming Alfieri model. This can be seen on the company’s newly released video. In the video clip in question, it can be seen quite clearly that the Italian company is trying to highlight its racing pedigree besides talking about vehicles that the company is going to produce in the foreseeable future.
As pointed out by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, the Head of Design at FCA, the Italian company is putting a lot of efforts that are focused on delivering mass customers out there with a final production vehicle that can resemble the concept version as closely as possible. The man even goes as far as to claim that the upcoming Alfieri from Maserati is actually a racing vehicle that has a heavy Italian style applied onto it. The car, however, will be dynamic and simple and also have a good taste, according to the FCA Head of Design.
Based on the most recent reports published by a number of media out there, there will be two variants of the final production vehicle offered by the Italian automotive marquee. First off, there will be a coupe variant of the model. Then, there will also be a convertible variant available. Both of these will come with either a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or an all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain.
The Italian automaker has also confirmed officially that the Maserati Alfieri will pack a powerful V6 engine that will have the ability to offer customers with a number of peak power outputs to choose from. The power outputs available are 410 PS, 450 PS and also 520 PS.
Last but not least, it is believed that the 2015 Maserati Alfieri will eventually go on sale as the year 2016 comes into reality.
