If you are asked to describe about the people of China, perhaps you can say that they have completely exceptional ability in terms of imitating what other people make. At least, this is the case with the Rayttle E28. The Rayttle E28 is actually an electric vehicle that has caught attention in Beijing, China, quite recently, mainly thanks to its look.
As it turns out, the Rayttle E28 is actually designed by following the guidelines of developing a Renault Twizy. As reported by the CarNewsChina, the car looks very much like the vehicle that was once produced by the French automaker, Renault. However, the Chinese version of the Twizy actually rolls out of a plant that belongs to a local automaker, known as the Zhejiang Litong New Energy Automobile Corporation. The Chinese automaker first introduced the car some time in September last year. Right now, the car is being manufactured at Guangzhou, China.
Some photos depicting the Chinese vehicle in question have been made available online. The only differences it has on the exterior when compared to the original Twizy by Renault are the additional part attached to the lower part of the front bumper as well as the wheels. As for the interior, it looks completely different than the Renault Twizy. The Chinese version of the vehicle features new air vents, steering wheel and center console in its cabin.
In terms of the powertrain, the Chinese Rayttle E28 packs a 7.2kW electric motor that is mated to either a 135aH or 73.5aH lithium-ion battery. According to the most recent reports from a number of trustworthy sources out there, the Chinese version of the Twizy can actually go as far as 130 km before it will demand to be recharged. Its top speed reaches the mark of 80 km/h.
