The upcoming S-Class vehicle model from Mercedes-Maybach is undeniably a very exclusive vehicle. With that being said, it is not going to be easy at all to come across this very vehicle. However, somehow, someone out there has managed to take an image of the aforementioned vehicle model from the luxury German automaker.
Judging by the image, the car caught on camera is the second generation of the new S-Class vehicle lineup. The car has been spotted finished in the silver paint. It can also be seen on the image that the car bears a Dutch license plate. With that being said, there is a huge chance that the car was actually undergoing some factory tests of sorts when it was caught on camera. With a wheelbase measuring 3,365 mm, the car is actually pretty long. As such, the luxury German automaker has decided to slot it between the Pullman lineup – which is the top of the range – and the standard S-Class lineup.
The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will be coming in two versions for customers to choose from, the S500 and the S600. The former will pack a 4.7L V8 bi-turbo engine. This one offers 455 hp and 700 Nm of power and torque, respectively. As for the S600, it is going to come with a 6.0L V12 engine with twin turbochargers. This one offers 530 hp and 830 Nm of power and torque, respectively.
Considering the performance that it has to offer, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is going to come with a price tag of 134, 053 Euros. That is for the S500. As for the S600, it costs 187,841 Euros. One thing to note here is that those are the prices that apply in Germany. Outside its home country, the car costs at least 189,350 Euros, excluding delivery and destination fees. Shipment of the vehicle will start April this year.
