The automaker that calls itself the Galpin Auto Sports has now officially taken the wraps off its first ever production variant of the Rocket. This unveiling has recently taken place at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
In case you forget, this production Rocket had actually been previewed some time ago during the Los Angeles Auto Show event that took place last year. The car uses the chassis of the Mustang GT from the American automaker, Ford. It also sports a body featuring an aggressive visual design and is made of the highly strong yet lightweight carbon fiber material. The visual styling, it turns out, has come from Henrik Fisker himself.
Well, to be totally honest with you, the visual styling of this very vehicle from the Galpin Auto Sports has actually received plenty of criticisms. Maybe, because of all those criticisms, the car is now coming with newly designed front fascia that features a hexagonal front grille and a front splitter made of the carbon fiber material. In addition to that, the car also bears a rear spoiler integrated with the trunk, a rear diffuser and a set of side skirts made of the carbon fiber material, sculptured fenders, ram air hood and also 21-inch ADV.1 bespoke wheels neatly wrapped in the P-Zero tires from Pirelli.
So far, Galpin Auto Sports has yet to release complete details in respect to the engine specifications of the vehicle. However, it has confirmed that the vehicle is going to have a V8 engine with supercharger, producing 725 bhp of power output in total. The car will reportedly come with some other modifications as well, with the Brembo brakes and an adjustable suspension being some of them.
