2017 MINI Countryman Caught on Tape

by SpeedLux

The MINI Countryman of the 2017 model year has been caught on tape while being evaluated under cold weather condition. For those of you who happen to be quite a huge fan of the British marquee, you can expect the 2017 Countryman from the company to come out around next year. The car will most likely be coming in the form of a crossover with a design that is evolutionary.

Speaking of the evolutionary design of the new Countryman model, this British crossover will be sporting a newly designed front fascia. Its front fascia is now treated with a pair of redesigned headlamps as well as a new front grille that is larger than that of the predecessor. Yet, going farther to the rear fascia of the vehicle, customers will be greeted by a pretty familiar design. They can expect a rear tailgate spoiler, a sloping roofline and also extended fender flares.

Now, what about the performance of the upcoming MINI Countryman? Well, report has it, customers will be able to choose from a number of engine options, available in both petrol and diesel variants. To begin with, buyers may consider a 1.5L engine with three inline cylinders, delivering 134 bhp and 220 Nm of power and torque. As an alternative to that engine, buyers can also choose a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 189 bhp and 280 Nm of power output and torque, respectively. For those who only want to spend their money on the range topping model, they can go for the John Cooper Works variant. This one packs a TwinPower Turbo 2.0L 4-cylinder engine under the hood. Its engine delivers no less than 228 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque.
