V8 monster Merc’s AMG GT3 racer in action

by David Bond

It is exactly fine as AMG’s new 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 is. This is the reason it is undoubtedly a Very Good Thing that Merc has fitted that swishing, fighting, naturally aspirated leviathan of an engine to its gloriously startling AMG GT3.

A quick refresher the AMG GT3 is the meaner, track-only form of the street going AMG G T. It has a monstrous wing, greater air intakes, a more extensive track and a six-pace successive gearbox encouraging the back wheels. It’s the follow up to the gigantically effective SLS GT3, which has scored more than 180 wins following AMG began its client sports program in 2010.

Furthermore, do Audi have a treat for you? Do whatever it is you need to do to expand the volume on your internet enabled thingy, and enjoy your ears for three minutes as an extremely lucky man pounds this thundery GT around the Nurburgring.
