Mahindra’s KUV100 compact SUV is planned to be revealed in India on 15 January. Prior to the launch, the specifications of KUV100 have been leaked online, giving car enthusiasts in the country an idea about how the car is going to be.
Mahindra, which revealed its new mini-SUV KUV100 in starting December has maintained its specifications and functions under wraps before the model’s official launch in the country.
These latest leaks are coming from The Automotive India and as per the report, the KUV100, which is highly known by its codename S101, will be provided in four variants that are K2, K4, K6 and K8. All variants of KUV100 are going to include anti-lock braking system (ABS) and get additional dual airbag across the line up.
Driving on an all-new platform, under the hood, the Mahindra KUV100 (S101) will receive the firm’s new engine mFalcon. To be provided in both petrol and diesel engine functions, the petrol 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 is set to churn out 82bhp and 114NM, and the 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 diesel can create 77bhp and a peak torque of 190Nm.
