Elio Motors, Inc. (OTCQX: ELIO), named Jeffrey W. Johnston as vice president of Engineering with regards to its three-wheeled vehicle that will have a targeted base rate of $6,800 and approximated to achieve up to 84 miles per gallon. The announcement was made by Paul Elio, creator and CEO of Elio Motors.
Johnston, 54, will be accountable for all engineering of the complete Elio car, recognition, safety, program management and car launch. He will report straight to Paul Elio.
Johnston has over 30 years of experience working for Top 10 automakers and suppliers in the international automotive world. Throughout his career, he has held a number of crucial leadership status in Engineering, Interior Introduce, Buying, Sales, and Program Management. His strong technical capabilities and natural skill for managing people has shown immeasurable to the success of the companies.
