Ford Recalls 48,700 EcoSport SUVs in India to Repair Defects

Ford revealed that it is recalling about 48,700 EcoSport sport-utility automobiles (SUVs) in India. The automaker has actually provided this recall to fix the malfunctioning fuel and brake lines, and rear folding seats in these cars.

Of the overall automobiles recalled by Ford, 48,000 were made over the duration April 2013 to June 2014. The automaker will set up a new package clip on the fuel and brake lines of these cars.

The other 700 vehicles covered under the recall were produced in between Jan and Feb 2016. These vehicles are geared up with a 60/40 rear folding seat. Ford stated that around 40% of the automobiles’ rear seat back-rest is put together with bolts that do not please the business’s product specification. There is a plausibility of breakdown in these bolts.
