Man crashes car into a school while playing Pokémon Go

A male made an unexpected Pokestop when his car crashed into a Melbourne school, St Francis Xavier College in Berwick.

Officers say the man was aiming to capture a creature from the Pokémon Go cellphone app when he lost control of his automobile while working out a roundabout.

The vehicle smashed through a fence and into a school portable building in Berwick at 6.50 pm on Thursday. Nobody was injured.

“Any Pokeballs, eggs or potions the motorist might have had staying only drew in police,” Victoria cops spokeswoman Julie-Anne Newman stated.
