The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder shows up in display rooms this week and the car manufacturer has just launched prices for the updated three-row crossover. The base design 2017 Pathfinder S begins at $30,890 (consisting of $900 location charge), which is $160 more than in 2015, though the popular SV and SL models are more affordable than they were in past.

As formerly reported, the Pathfinder got minor styling updates, new safety functions, and upgraded technology. Power comes from a direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6 ranked at 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque, a boost of 24 hp and 19 lb-ft from the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. A continually variable transmission and front-wheel drive is basic and four-wheel drive can be hand for an extra $1,690.

All 2017 Pathfinder designs come basic with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, push-button start, 18-inch wheels, and Bluetooth connection. The Pathfinder SV begins at $33,580 ($470 less expensive this time) and includes a power-adjustable motorist’s seat, rear parking sensing unit, automatic headlights, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Pathfinder SL will still require $36,600, although it is $710 less expensive than the 2016 design. The SL trim includes leather seats, power-adjustable front passenger seat, motion-activated power liftgate, a blind spot screen, heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.
