LG Chem expects General Motors selling more than 30,000 Bolt electric vehicles next year

LG Chem Ltd, a South Korean battery provider for General Motors upcoming Bolt electric automobiles, stated on Tuesday it anticipated the U.S. car manufacturer to sell over 30,000 of the cars next year.

LG Chem vice president Kang Chang-beom made the forecast throughout a conference call to talk about the company’s third-quarter profits.

General Motors will be launching its subcompact Chevrolet Bolt EV in the coming months and is viewed as a crucial test of whether the innovation can go mainstream in the United States. The vehicle will have an average driving series of 238 miles on a complete charge.
