Fiat Chrysler had planned to gradually reveal parts of the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon SRT in the coming weeks prior to pulling the sheet from the entire thing in April at the New York Auto Show. Star Vin Diesel might have now mistakenly ruined the fun, however, posting a video to Facebook live that appears to reveal the Hellcat-shaming Demon hiding in the background.
The video, shows a set of silver, widebody Dodge Challengers with black hoods including a large single-inlet hood scoop. The vehicles look precisely like those identified in the trailer for Fast and Furious 8. The trailer, launched previously this year, stimulated speculation that the widebody Challenger was going to include in the film and this leak all but verifies the theories.
We still have no idea about the 2018 Devil’s powertrain or performance specifications, however it’s safe to tell that exactly what you see here is the car Dodge prepares to debut in New York this April.
