Adidas Giving Away Custom Porsches for Free

by SpeedLux

One of the most renowned makers of sports equipment in the world, Adidas, has a very exciting program going on. Believe it or not, the company is giving away free vehicles with the Porsche emblem on them. There will not be just one but three fine examples of the luxury German sports car to be given away, mind you! The company has announced this officially and as it explains, the three Porsches will be given away completely free to the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine runners that manage to finish in the podium, from the first to the third place.

To be clear, the Porsche model that Adidas is offering here is the 911 and as a matter of fact, this giveaway is just the company’s way of marketing its new product. Along with the giveaway, the company is trying to promote what it calls the UNCAGED adizero 5-star 40 Football cleats. This is also the very reason why the three examples of the Porsche 911 for the giveaway have been treated with some cheetah graphic pattern on their body panel. This graphic gives the vehicles an identical look with the new product from Adidas.

Well, for those who are not quite knowledgeable about the aforementioned NFL event just yet, it is a showcase lasting one week in which football players from colleges are expected to undergo both mental and physical tests right before the eyes of the general managers, scouts and coaches of NFL.

Yet, as it turns out, earning the car is not so easy, after all. Apart from having to finish in the top three places, the runners will also be required to sign a contract with the sports equipment manufacturer in question. In addition to that, they will also have to wear the new cleats from Adidas. Is it worth it? Well, that is definitely up to the runners. Yet, just as a kind reminder, Brandin Cooks from the Oregon State was given $100,000 by Adidas last year for recording the fastest time in a 40-yard sprint.
