Arash AF10: Here are the complete details and pictures

People who are die hard fans of sport cars would be aware of the rumors about the Arash AF10 that has been floating around for over two years. And now after being on the rumor mill for two years, complete details about the British car have finally been disclosed. The latest photo sets of the Arash AF10, the new British supercar, are officially available now. AF10 is a sport car product from the British auto company called Arash Motor Company.

AF10 derives its power from a seven-liter LS7 V8 engine which has been sourced from the American manufacturer GM. The same seven-liter engine also powers the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The LS7 power plant found in both the above cars churns out huge power – delivering in excess of 550 horses which the engine produces when spinning at over 6,200 rpm. The maximum torque produced by the engine is 475 lb-ft when the engine is running at 4,800 rpm. The power plant touches it warning level, the red line at over 7,000 rpm. The LS7 engine is attached to a six speed Graziano GT-ME1 transmission.

The Arash AF10 has a carbon fiber body with a honeycomb configuration for its core aluminum panels, which Arash announced would be made by F1 engineers. Its worth mentioning here that F1 engineers are known for their expertise in the development of carbon fiber car bodies having honeycomb aluminum core at its base. The AF10 super sports is actually inspired and designed to run on the racetracks. The AF10 super sports car is therefore crafted using lightweight aluminum fuel tanks, steel roll cage and front-rear steel sub-frames.

The sports sedan comes pre-installed with Michelin Pilot tires measuring 265/35Z in front wheels and 335/30Z in the rear wheels. The car wheels have AP racing ventilated ceramic disks in conjunction with the eight-pistons hiding right under them. Though no official details about the sports car pricing has yet been released, auto experts believe the AF10 will be priced starting at £320,000. The production edition of the sports car is expected to be released in assortment of 17 different colors. However, the there is no official information about the specific time line when the super car will actually start for the production lines.
