ATS Sport 1000 GETS DETAILED

It has been 50 years now that ATS group had born, and now after 50 years after its creation, ATS presents a new sports car, the ATS SPORT 1000. The ATS SPORT 1000 recreates the typical characteristics of a racing sportscar of the sixties, simplicity and lightness, but with technology, aerodynamics and performance of modern sportscar. The chassis is made of stainless steel, paneled in aluminum, and only weighs 55kg while the body completely removable in 5 minutes is made of GRP and weighs 57 kg.

The two-seater can be powered with a bike engine, or any other inline 4-cylinder engine, the transmission used is a chain drive and the limited slip differential is a Quaife ATB, the suspensions are double wishbones with Teflon bushes and uniballs, with fully adjustable shock absorbers, while the custom design hubs are made from CNC billet aluminum, it also features anti-roll bars front and rear. For safety the car comes equipped with a front Honeycomb crash box, a 50mm rollbar, an aluminum tank with explosive, Sparco 6-point belts and collapsible steering column. The Tarox brake system with 6-piston calipers front and rear, the Till let B2 seat offers the best comfort and lateral support to the driver.

This car weighs at just 400kg and with semi-slick or slick tires and aerodynamic downforce of 1150 kg, which guarantees records for its class. The extractor specifically studied in the wind tunnel offers superior performance of any competitor in the same price range.The model from ATS is ideal for competing in hill climbing races, club race or one make series. But ATS also made a special version of “road legal” SPORT 1000 dedicated to amateur drivers who loves track days around the world.

The ATS SPORT 1000 is already available and can be purchased in complete form or factory built rolling chassis, less engine, with prices starting from € 25,000.
